For your essay on Friday:
While you are telling a first person account of this, keep in mind it's more of an essay than a story.
It has fictional elements, obviously, but please remember to have an introduction with a thesis statement, at least three body paragraphs (each one can be a challenge), and a solid conclusion.
In the conclusion, you might predict what will happen beyond the present day into June.
- Think of your seventh grade year as a journey (or quest).
- You are the captain!
- What were your challenges this school year, and how can you represent them metaphorically?
- Write about at least three challenges.
- Your essay should be at least 250 words.
- You can use the RD we began in class ONLY.
